Kipp Aquarium

When the Houston Zoo remodeled the Herbert A. & Elizabeth N. Kipp Memorial Aquarium, adding a 10,250 gallon circular tank as it’s central feature, the in-house design team took the opportunity to also completely redo the exhibit graphics. New title signs, murals, interactive projections, digital tablets, and backlit interpretive panels were installed to elevated the guest experience, and immerse them in an underwater world. In addition, the team worked with in-house sculptors to create the whimsically-themed octopus door handles that greet guests upon entry.
