Orangutan Habitat

In the Fall of 2020, the Houston Zoo revamped the orangutan habitat in Wortham World of Primates. The renovated space provided more naturalistic climbing structures and enrichment opportunities for the orangutans, while also creating a more immersive experience for guests.

The Houston Zoo in-house design team produced the interpretive and donor signage throughout the exhibit, incorporating patterns and textures form Southeast Asia where the animals are located in the wild.
