South America’s Pantanal

South America’s Pantanal is an immersive exhibit, highlighting the animals the Houston Zoo protects in Brazil, including giant anteaters, tapirs, jaguars, and more. The first exhibit of it’s kind, features lush wetland habitat and rustic architecture, reminiscent of the eco-lodges found alongside the rivers and streams in the Northern Pantanal region. The interpretive signage was developed to embody this same rustic aesthetic and highlight the importance of the annual flood levels of the world’s largest wetland area.
