Marine Debris Interactive

“Marine debris,” or plastic pollution, is an ever-growing problem for our natural waterways and the wildlife that live there. The Houston Zoo in-house design team developed an interactive sign that highlights these issues in an engaging way, and communicates alternative actions guests can take to help save wildlife.

Additionally, one of the kiosks features plastics debris left by guests in the Zoo’s own sea lion pool, exemplifying that the problem is closer than we think.
